Memory Cafe

St Denys Memory Cafe is run by Caraway, and is for people who live with dementia, their carers and households.  

When & where do we meet?

• Tuesday afternoons, twice a month - the  1st  & 3rd Tuesday of every month.
• Time: from 2pm to 4pm

Where:

In St Denys Church Centre in the Meeting Room. Just follow the signs.

What are Memory Cafes?

Southampton’s Memory Cafés are a friendly safe place to meet regularly with other families living with dementia, somewhere to share and learn from your own and other’s experiences. There is no referral process, anyone with any memory difficulties is welcome.

Representatives from Southampton’s dementia services (Often this an admiral nurse or someone from carers in Southampton, among others) are regularly on hand to answer your queries and help solve any potential issues you may be experiencing.

At the cafes there is an occasional speaker along with plenty of time to talk to other carers and  volunteers. No café is complete without the opportunity for a cup of tea and some homemade cake.
