We offer a wide range of rooms to accomodate large and small numbers

Main Hall

 

A  large, light and spacious room with a wooden floor and direct access to the kitchen.

 

Capacity: 100 persons (or 80 if sitting round tables)

 

Dimensions: 9m/17m

 

Resources available: 20 folding adult tables (sized 89cm/183cm and 71cm height), 100 adult chairs, WIFI access, projector screen

 

Additional resources available if booked in advance:  audio speaker with bluetooth connectivity, projector, microphone and stand, 5 folding children's tables, 20 children's chairs.


Ideal for: Birthday parties; dancing and exercise classes; exhibitions and events

Meeting Room

 

A carpeted, conference-style room with a serving hatch to the kitchen.

 

Capacity: 30 persons

 

Dimensions: This is an L shaped room and  at its longest end measures 9,15m length  and at it shortest end measures 3,19m.

 

Resources available: 6 folding adult tables (sized 89cm/183cm and 71cm height), 30 padded chairs, WIFI access.

 

Additional resources available if booked in advance:  audio speaker with bluetooth connectivity, projector, microphone and stand, 5 folding children's tables, 20 children's chairs.


Ideal for: Meetings; seminars; forums and small parties

Garden Room

 

A smaller, private room overlooking our courtyard garden

 

Capacity: 5 persons 

 

Dimensions: 3m/4,15m


Ideal for: Counselling; interviews; rehearsals; study and reading

The Ark

 

A small Meeting Room on the 1st floor.

 

Capacity: 20 persons 

 

Dimensions: 5,5m/7.70m (please note that this room has a sloping roof which means the usable area is slightly smaller)


Ideal for: Small groups of yoga, meetings, small workshops.

 

Please note that access to this room is only by stairs, we do not have a lift access.

Kitchen

 

A well-sized kitchen with full cooking facilities accessible via hatches to both the Main Hall and the Meeting Room

 

All hirers have access to use the urns and basic facilities with the room rates.

 

Ovens, crockery (and dishwashing facilities) are available for additional costs.

 

Ideal for: Serving and preparing refreshments, from a cup of tea, to a full meal.

The Church Building

 

An historic,Victorian church with stunning interior, large stage and local artefacts. The church is a wonderful setting for large events, performances and exhibitions

 

Capacity: 250 persons, but also works brilliantly for smaller events of 10- 30 people

 

Resources available: refreshment area with mugs and hot water, grand piano

 

Additional resources available if booked in advance:  full audio sound system and sound desk table, projector, microphones and stands.

 

Ideal for: Christian worship and services; music and performance art; galleries and exhibitions

Useful To Know:

As you plan your booking, please take note of the following

  • Rooms can be booked until 11pm (except for Sundays which is 9pm). This includes at least half an hour for clearing away. 
  • You must be cleared away and off the site by the end of your booking time.
  • All loud music and noise must stop at 10pm (or 8pm on Sundays)
  • The Hall is not available on Sundays until 2.30pm
  • All our rooms are busy, and a number of regular events and bookings are already in place
