Thank you for being prepared to serve the Church and Community of St Denys Church (Portswood) through ministering within the Sunday Services. This blog is a gateway to information to help you do your role or responsibility with clarity and purpose.

Our church values are threefold, and they shape how we serve, worship, and build relationships, including within our Sunday Services. We are:

• Enriching communities, near and far: offering space for welcome, friendship & connections to grow; build supportive and collaborative relationships with communities near and far.

• Caring well for each another and our resources: tending to each other, our team, our resources, and our planet.

Based on these values, all the different roles and responsibilities in a Sunday Service fit within four ministries: Worship, Hospitality, Behind the Scenes and Pastoral. These four ministries are all vital for a healthy, safe and Christ-centred Sunday service.
