Prayer

Prayer is at the heart of how we love, live and care at St Denys. Each week we pray for the joys and worries of the local community and wider world, and anyone can bring prayer requests for prayer.

Ways to get involved in praying with St Denys Church

Write in our Book of Prayers

You can write a message in our virtual or onsite Book of Prayers, and every week on a Wednesday morning, we will pray through those prayers at our Prayer Together. We use the two simple categories of 'Prayers of Thanks' and 'Prayers for Help', and you can write in both or just one category.

You'll find the Book of Prayers inside the church on the right hand side you walk in. Alternatively you can write in the virtual book by simply clicking here and completing the form.

Sign up to receive the Wednesday Prayer Sheet

Each Wednesday morning, you can receive our Prayer Together email which has words from the Bible for reflection, and prayers of 'thanks' and 'help' based on requests that have come from the Book of Prayers. It's a great way to press pause in your week and connect with God and others in St Denys through prayer.

Join the Wednesday morning Prayer Zoom

From 9am till 9.40 each Wednesday morning you can join a small group of St Denys folk who meet on Zoom and use the Wednesday Prayer Together email to pray, reflect and pray some more. Everyone is welcome, you don't need to a copy of the Prayer Together email. Simply join in a 9 by clicking this Zoom link or using the Meeting ID  853 7638 2477
